SHE HAS BEEN PRAYING TO GOD TO HELP HER AND SARAH , SHE DID THE SIGN OF THE CROSS WITH THE WRONG HAND AND GOT FRIGHTENED PEOPLE WOULD FIND OUT HER TRUE IDENTIY. THEY WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE WITH THE PRINCIPAL AND A NZAI SOLDIER CAME UP TO HER AND ASKED HER WHAT HER NAME WAS AND SAID IS THAT A GERMAN NAME AND SHE SAID QUICKLY NO IT IS A FRENCH NAME AND SHE THOUGHT HE COULD SEE THROUGH ALL HERL IES AND HE WOULD TAKE HER AWAY.

Edith and her friends have arrived at their boarding school and it is right next to a cemetry, Edith doesn't like her new school , its got stains on the walls and seems all dirty and scrubby. They went outside in the dark and sang a Jewish song quietly so no one could hear them.

Edith has just been awoken and told that she is going with 3 other girls to a boarding school in Ste-Foy-la-Grande. She is told that she must try and forget about who she really is. She didn't get to say goodbye to Gaston. But atleast she is  with Sarah

I think that this part is sad because she has too srart a whole new life style and no one is allowed to know that she is Jewish , all they know is that their parents 'died' and they had no where else to go.

She had a dream that people were asking who she was , but she couldn't remember her fake name. She doesn't want to be someone shes not and she remembers her mum saying to her 'remember who you are' She is very nervous and scared.

I think I would be nervous if I was her, because you have to keep running from people , shes scared and nervous that people are going to find out that she is Jewish.

She has been camping , because the Nazi's were raiding Mossiac , but they didn't get caught. They came back and several days after they were told that they had to leave the house completely , they were told they would be given new identities. They are going to different places because it isn't safe in Mossiac anymore. Edith is very scared , she doesn't want to pretend to be someone she isn't.

She has just overheard them saying the Nazi's are coming to Mossiac , and they have set out too the camp ground , Edith is scared that they will find her and capture her.
